My personal story
Over 20 years ago, I became an entrepreneur after a successful career primarily in travel. For years I dreamed of starting a business in childcare. For me, since very young, it was important for women to be economically/financially independent, and childcare is an important link to achieve that independence. My child care company grew to 50 branches and about 700 employees in a few years. After selling the company, I set up, acquired, sold and invested in several companies. Gradually, I started advising more and more – often female – entrepreneurs on strategy and growth.
As a mediator, entrepreneur, investor, employee, supervisor, advisor, mentor, director and commissioner, I have gained extensive experience in various industries where a positive impact on people’s lives as well as our planet are a common thread.
